When a credit card is deactivated
1. Overdue repayment: If you fail to repay your credit card balance overdue, the bank will suspend your credit card. At this time, you need to pay off the balance as soon as possible and contact the bank to reactivate the credit card.
2. Insufficient credit limit: If your credit limit has been exhausted, the bank will also suspend the use of your credit card. You can solve this problem by increasing your credit limit, choosing other payment methods, etc.
3. Credit card expiration: If your credit card has expired, the bank will automatically deactivate your credit card. You need to apply for a new credit card and go through the corresponding procedures.
4. Suspected credit card fraud: If your credit card is suspected of being stolen or otherwise fraudulent, the bank will suspend the use of your credit card and investigate the account. If it turns out that you were not involved in the fraud, you can negotiate with your bank to reinstate use of your credit card.
