There are three ways to activate a Bank of China credit card:

1. Credit card customer service phone activation

Call the 24-hour customer service hotline shown on the back of the credit card. After selecting the corresponding language, complete the credit card activation according to the customer service prompts

2. Bank branch activation

For bank branch processing, just follow the instructions of the counter staff.

3. Online activation

1. First open the Bank of China "Colorful Life" app. The main interface is as shown in the figure below. Users who do not have the app can go to the app store to download it first.

2. Then click "Use Card" in the bottom column to enter the card usage interface. After continuing to scroll down, you can see the "Card Activation" button.

3. Click "Card Activation" and the credit card activation interface will appear, as shown in the figure below. Fill in the credit card number, your ID number and the security code on the back of the card.

4. After completing the filling, click "Get Verification Code".

5. After entering the graphic verification code, your phone will receive the SMS verification code. Fill in the SMS verification code and click "Next".

6. Then fill in the credit card transaction password and telephone inquiry password. They are both 6 digits. It is recommended to fill in the same number to facilitate memory.

7. After completing the filling, click "Next" and the activation will be successful. The interface is as shown in the figure below.
