Alipay is bound to credit card payment. When a refund is involved, the payment will be directly returned to the credit card. Refunds will not arrive immediately and will take 3-5 working days.

The credit card Alipay refund process is as follows:

1. The cardholder applies for a refund from the merchant.

2. The merchant agrees to refund.

3. The money will be refunded to Alipay first and frozen and will show as unavailable balance.

4. Alipay applies to the bank for a refund.

5. The bank will refund the money to the cardholder’s credit card.
