Card activation

Each of your cards needs to be activated before it can be used. After you receive the card, whether it is the main card or the supplementary card (including newly issued cards, damaged and lost cards, replacement cards when expired, etc.), first choose to open the card by phone or online:

(1) Open a card by phone

Follow the following steps to open a card by phone. At the same time, please set a phone banking password for 24-hour service hotline voice inquiry and related operations.

n Each person has one phone banking password. The primary cardholder and supplementary cardholder should set a password respectively.

n If you hold multiple main cards at the same time, you only need to set a phone banking password when opening the first card, and use this password for other cards.

(2) Online card opening

Please follow the following steps to open a card online:

n If the card activation fails three times, the card can only be opened manually through the 24-hour service hotline;

After completing the card opening procedure, you can enjoy the convenience of swiping your card for consumption and 24-hour attentive service. If you choose "use password for domestic consumption", you must wait until you receive the password letter before you can use the card domestically.

(1) After opening the card, you will receive a card password letter from our bank (the supplementary card password will also be sent to the main cardholder). This password must be used in the following situations:

1) Cash withdrawals at home and abroad;

2) Customers who choose "Use password for domestic consumption" make card purchases within the country.

(2) If you hold multiple cards and the passwords for each card are sent separately, please keep them properly and store them separately from the cards and ID cards. If the password is lost or forgotten, please call the 24-hour service hotline and our bank will resend it for you.

In order for you to use and keep your password more safely and conveniently, you can change the password at any time at any ATM where our bank has enabled the password change function.
