Application conditions

(1) China residents, foreigners living in China and compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan who have reached the age of 18 and have full civil capacity and good credit can apply for personal credit cards with this card. MasterCard issuers can produce valid identity documents. Personal master card holders can also apply for supplementary cards for other natural persons with full civil capacity or natural persons with limited civil capacity. The cardholder of the primary card can apply for cancellation of the secondary card at any time.

(2) Enterprises, administrative institutions, social organizations and other economic organizations authorized by legal persons may apply to the card issuer for a unit card license issued by the People's Bank of China when opening a basic deposit account in a domestic financial institution (if applying for an international unit card, a foreign exchange settlement account is required). The qualification of the cardholder of the unit card shall be designated and revoked in writing by the legal representative of the unit or its authorized person. All debts arising from the unit card shall be borne by the applicant.

(6) After receiving the credit card, the cardholder shall immediately sign the same signature as the credit card application form in the signature column on the back of the credit card, and use the same signature when using the credit card for transactions. Otherwise, the losses caused thereby shall be borne by the cardholder. Card issuers should also provide cardholders with inquiry passwords and transaction passwords (namely, withdrawal passwords and credit card consumption passwords) through designated channels.
