The points rules for ICBC credit cards are: 1 point for every 1 yuan spent, 1 point for 1 Hong Kong dollar spent, 8 points for 1 US dollar spent, and any less than 1 yuan will not be counted. For example, hotels and shopping malls all have points.
ICBC credit card points will not be accumulated for transactions under the following circumstances:
1. Wholesale transactions: such as tobacco, beer, building materials wholesale, computer malls, etc.
2. Transfer transactions: such as loan deductions, automatic transfers of utility bills, transfer transactions for purchasing securities or funds, insurance deductions, etc.
3. Professional transactions: such as hospital payments, provident fund payments, tax payments, school payments, insurance payments, real estate sales, car sales, online transactions, auctions and pawns, etc.
4. Stored value transactions: such as gas card recharge, phone bill recharge, prepaid recharge, etc.
5. Other transactions that are deemed not to accumulate points will not accumulate ICBC credit card points.
ICBC credit card points are valid for 2 years.
