Bank cards are frozen for different reasons. Details can be found in the following situations:
1. If it is frozen due to telephone dishonesty, it will be automatically unfrozen after seven days;
2. If it is illegally frozen by the bank, it cannot be automatically unfrozen. There must be actual proof that there is no misconduct in the account, and the assistant will freeze it;
3. If it is frozen due to loss reporting, it cannot be unfrozen automatically. You must bring your ID card and original passbook to the bank for thawing;
4. If it is frozen due to incorrect password input, it cannot be unfrozen automatically. You need to go directly to all ICBC in the same city to withdraw money, and then enter the correct password to unfreeze it;
5. The people's court shall freeze the bank deposits and other funds of the person subjected to execution for a period not exceeding one year.
How to deal with frozen credit cards:
1, check your credit card bill to see how much is still outstanding, and then repay it in time;
2. After repayment, call the customer service hotline of the bank credit card to apply for thawing or apply for thawing at the counter of the bank outlet to which the credit card belongs.
The cardholder's credit card has been frozen due to late repayment or multiple cash withdrawals. Usually call the credit card customer service center to explain the situation and unfreeze it. If the overdue situation is not serious, as long as the credit card center confirms that the debt has been paid off, it will be unfrozen immediately.
Legal basis:
Article 487 of the Supreme People's Court's Interpretation on the Application of the Civil Procedure Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that the time limit for the people's court to freeze the bank deposits of the person subjected to execution shall not exceed one year, the time limit for sealing up or distraining movable property shall not exceed two years, and the time limit for sealing up immovable property and freezing other property rights shall not exceed three years. Where the person subjected to execution applies for an extension of the time limit, the people's court shall go through the formalities of continuing the seizure, seizure and freezing before the expiration of the time limit, and the extension period shall not exceed the time limit specified in the preceding paragraph. The people's court may also handle the formalities of continued sealing up, seizure and freezing ex officio.
