When you make an online banking appointment to apply for a China Merchants Bank credit card for the first time, the system will conduct a preliminary review based on the information you filled in. There will be two different situations after the review:

1. A CMB specialist will contact you within 4 working days. Contact us by phone to make an appointment for a visit;

2. Send you an verification notification text message. You are required to present the text message and bring your valid ID card to any branch of China Merchants Bank within 30 days to sign and confirm the procedure. If the verification is successful on the same day, The system will issue the card that night, and the card will be mailed to you. You will receive it about a week after it is sent.

Both cases are automatically assigned by the system and cannot be selected. The final review result shall prevail.

If the interview time exceeds 30 days, you need to resubmit the application materials to the branch for processing. You can only apply once within 2 months of online banking appointment.
