My Mainland Identity Card has been cancelled, what should I do with my credit card?

If you don’t use it, you can cancel it. If you use it, you can update the information. Basically, after immigration, this matter has little to do with the credit card.

On October 27, 2003, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government implemented the capital investor entry program, with a threshold of HK$6.5 million. Investors can choose their own investment projects from the permitted investment asset classes without starting or jointly setting up a business. After the investment is completed, a temporary ID card will be issued, which can be entered twice a year, renewed once in 2 years, and 3 times in 7 years. After maintaining the investment for 7 years, a Hong Kong permanent resident ID card will be issued. During this period, the applicant cannot mortgage the investment to a bank or other institution in any way, and withdraw the funds to leave Hong Kong. If he violates this condition of investment immigration to Hong Kong, his immigration qualification will be terminated.
