It's possible. If the applicant can apply for a mortgage, which shows that he meets the requirements for mortgage and credit card application, he can apply for a credit card. However, it should be reminded that there is a handling fee of 1% for mortgage transfer from credit card, and it is recommended to use a debit card for mortgage.
