How can I negotiate to repay the principal only when the credit card is overdue?
Although you can negotiate with the bank to repay only the principal, you should make two preparations and don't expect too much. After all, every bank has different rules.

1. If the amount owed is not large, the interest generated is not much. This need not be negotiated, and the bank will not agree after consultation. It is useless to do it;

2. If the amount owed is not large, but the overdue time is long, resulting in a lot of interest, this situation must be negotiated. You must pay off your debts to get rid of your bad credit record. For example, the debt is only about 2000 yuan, but it is overdue for 2 years, and you have to pay back more than 654.38+0 million with interest. This is not a small number.

During the negotiation, you should take the initiative to call the bank and be rational. Of course, don't forget to write it down. Tell the bank on the phone that you want to pay back the money, and then explain clearly the principal you owe and the interest you generate. At the same time, you should show your difficult situation. Only money can repay the principal, but no money can repay the interest.

But the last thing to say is that no matter whether the negotiation is successful or not, as long as you are overdue, it is best to pay back some money every month to show your willingness to repay, so that it will not constitute the crime of credit card fraud, and the bank will not contact the public security to arrest people, if it is not difficult for you.
