According to Aauto Quicker Encyclopedia, zhangping city belongs to Longyan City, Fujian Province, located in the southwest of Fujian Province, upstream of Jiulong River (Beixi), at the east gate of western Fujian, bordering Yongchun and Anxi in the east, and bordering developed coastal areas in southern Fujian such as Xiamen. In the seventh year of Chenghua in Zhangping (147 1), the county was established, and it was withdrawn in 1990.

Zhangping, located at the junction of Daiyun Mountain, Wugui Mountain and Bopingling Mountain, spans the middle of Jiangbei Creek in Kowloon and divides Zhangping into two parts, showing a saddle-shaped terrain inclined from south to north to the middle valley. There are middle valleys and hilly areas along the river in zhangping city.
