Consequences of overdue credit cards:
1. Charge of penalty: If the cardholder’s credit card is overdue, the bank will carry out a series of collection work, and will also remind the cardholder to pay penalty. The longer the overdue period, the higher the penalty.
2. Unable to apply for a loan: If your credit card is overdue, it is easy to be listed in the credit bureau. Once there is a credit stain, the bad overdue records will be kept for 5 years. Serious overdue loans will be put on the credit bureau blacklist, and subsequent applications may not be accepted. to the loan.
3. Blacklisting: If a credit card is seriously overdue, it will be blacklisted, restricting the cardholder's consumption and travel, and more seriously, it will affect the children's ability to attend high-end private schools.
4. Prosecution: If the credit card is overdue for three months and has not been paid after two collections by the bank, the bank has the right to sue the cardholder and force the cardholder to return the outstanding amount.
Criteria for filing a case of credit card fraud:
1. Using a forged credit card, you can use it after forging it yourself, or you can use it knowing that it is someone else’s forged credit card;
2. Using an expired credit card;
3. Pretending to use someone else’s credit card means that a non-cardholder uses the credit card in the name of the cardholder without the cardholder’s consent or authorization to conduct Fraudulent behaviors such as cash withdrawals in credit card business;
4. Malicious overdrafts.

The crime of credit card fraud involves one of the following circumstances: carrying out credit card fraud activities with a relatively large amount If the amount is huge or there are other serious circumstances, the sentence shall be not less than five years but not more than 10 years of fixed-term imprisonment and a fine of not less than 20,000 yuan but not more than 200,000 yuan. A fine of not more than 500,000 yuan; if the amount is particularly huge or there are other particularly serious circumstances, the sentence is to be not less than 10 years in prison or life imprisonment, and a fine of not less than 50,000 yuan but not more than 500,000 yuan, or property confiscation:
(1) Using a forged credit card, or using a credit card fraudulently obtained with false identification;
(2) Using an expired credit card;

(4) Malicious overdrafts.
The term "malicious overdraft" as mentioned in the preceding paragraph refers to the cardholder's behavior of overdrafting beyond the prescribed limit or within the prescribed period for the purpose of illegal possession and failing to return the card after being called upon by the card-issuing bank.
Whoever steals a credit card and uses it for the crime of theft shall be convicted and punished in accordance with the provisions of Article 264 of this Law.
