What should I do if my credit card is stolen?
1. Contact the customer service staff of the issuing bank and inform them that the card has been counterfeited and stolen. At this point, after checking the identity information, the customer service staff will take the initiative to control the card, commonly known as "code". Then notify the user:
1. 1 go to the nearest ATM for inquiry and transaction;
1.2 alarm;
1.3 copy of the latest original passport;
1.4 Fax the alarm record and passport copy to the fax number designated by the issuing bank.
The issuing bank requires this to prove that the credit card is now in the hands of the customer, and that the customer was not in the place where the forged transaction occurred when the forged transaction was made.
With the above evidence, the issuing bank can generally assume that the customer's card was stolen after being recorded, which is not a personal fraud of the customer.
