The statement on the first floor is not accurate. The evolution of Ping An Bank is as follows:
The real predecessor of Ping An Bank was Fujian Asia Bank, which was later acquired by Ping An Group and renamed Ping An Bank. This is the earliest Ping An Bank. In 28, Shenzhen Commercial Bank was acquired by Ping An Group. In order to avoid horizontal competition, Ping An Bank was acquired by Shenzhen Commercial Bank and renamed Shenzhen Ping An Bank. Later, it was renamed Ping An Bank Co., Ltd. (referred to as Ping An Bank for short). In 211, the merger of the two banks was officially launched. Shenzhen Development Bank was acquired by Ping An Group, and the original Ping An Bank was absorbed. Due to the renaming problem reported by the regulatory authorities such as industry and commerce, taxation and banking supervision, the name of Shenzhen Development Bank was temporarily used to start business, and the business license of the original head office of Ping An Bank was cancelled. On June 14th, 212, the announcement of the merger of the two banks was officially released, and SDB and Ping An Bank have been integrated into one bank in legal sense. On July 26th, 212, SDB was officially renamed Ping An Bank Co., Ltd.. That is, the new Ping An Bank.
It is not accurate and one-sided to say that SDB is the predecessor of Ping An Bank. Although Ping An Bank temporarily used the name of SDB for a period of time due to the merger, SDB cannot be regarded as the predecessor of Ping An Bank in essence.
