Higher education self-study students who have passed any of the following exams can be exempted from the "Computer Application Fundamentals ( (Including practice) (0018, 0019)" courses: ① National Computer Rating Examination (NCRE) level one and above; ② Shanghai Computer Application Ability Test intermediate level and above; ③ National Computer Application Technology Certificate Examination (NIT) 905 module; ④ Shanghai "Computerized Accounting" certificate issued by the Municipal Finance Bureau.

Higher education self-study students who have passed the National English Proficiency Test (PETS) Level 2 or above written test can be exempted from taking the "English (1) (0012)" course; those who have obtained the National English Proficiency Test (PETS) Higher education self-study students who have passed the written test of level 3 or above, or have obtained the original college English level 4 or above certificate (not available from the beginning of the transcript) can be exempted from taking the "English (1) (0012)" and "English (2) (0015) )" course;

Shanghai Higher Education Self-Study Examination holds unified examinations in April and October each year. The exams are held on two weekends (Saturday and Sunday) in mid-to-late April and October. One exam is arranged in the morning and one in the afternoon, with 8 units in 4 days.
The exam start time is 8:30 am and 14:00 pm Beijing time.
Candidates who take the exam for the first time should register about 40 days in advance, usually in March and early September. The registration location is designated by the examination institution where the major is located.
