Is the ICBC Peony Student Card a credit card, a debit card or a credit card?

Hello#

Our Peony student card belongs to the Peony international credit card type. Deposits on this card do not bear interest, and consumption can enjoy an interest-free repayment period of 25 to 56 days. It can be used overseas or on overseas websites.

The main difference between Peony credit card and credit card:

(1) Credit card deposits bear interest (calculated based on current interest rates), while credit card deposits do not bear interest.

(2) Credit cards do not enjoy an interest-free repayment period. Credit card purchases can enjoy an interest-free repayment period of a minimum of 25 days and a maximum of 56 days.

(3) Credit limit: 5,000 yuan for regular credit cards and 10,000 yuan for gold cards. For credit cards, it depends on the applicant’s credit standing.

Deposits on debit cards (Peony Money Link Card) are interest-bearing, but cannot be overdrafted. Only the actual deposits in the card can be used for transactions.
