The Nanjian County Rural Credit Union has been reorganized, and its function of serving "agriculture, rural areas and farmers" has been significantly enhanced. The reform of rural taxes and fees continues to deepen, and the burden on farmers has been significantly reduced.
In January 2021, "Xiaokang" magazine launched a list of the top 100 counties and cities for spring leisure in China in 2021, with Nanjian County ranked 73rd.
In September 2018, the list of comprehensive demonstration counties for e-commerce in rural areas in 2018 was released, and Nanjian County was included.
On February 21, 2017, Nanjian County was included in the list of counties (cities, districts) with basically balanced development of compulsory education in the country in 2016.
