Usually, there are two passwords for credit card passwords, namely, transaction password (payment password) and inquiry password (telephone service password). Common ways to deal with three incorrect credit card passwords of different banks are as follows:

1. Bank of China:

China Bank's credit card will be locked within 24 hours if it is entered incorrectly for three times. It will be unlocked automatically after 24 hours.

2. China Industrial and Commercial Bank:

ICBC credit card will be locked if it is wrongly entered three times. After being locked, the cardholder needs to bring his credit card and his valid ID card to the local credit card center to unlock it.

3. Agricultural Bank of China:

The inquiry password of Agricultural Bank will be locked if it is entered incorrectly for three consecutive times, but it will be automatically unlocked the next day. For more operations, you can consult the lobby manager or related personnel after going to the outlet.

4. China Merchants Bank:

(1) Forgot the transaction password: it will be automatically unlocked at 0: 00 the next day after the transaction password is locked. If you forget the transaction password, please call the service hotline. After authentication, press 9 for manual processing.

(2) If you forget the query password, you can log in to China Merchants Bank official website to reset the query password. If the inquiry password is locked, it can also be reset here, but cardholders who only hold supplementary cards cannot reset it online.
