China residents who have reached the age of 18 and have full capacity for civil conduct and good credit standing, foreigners with full capacity for civil conduct and compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan with full capacity for civil conduct can apply for personal credit card master cards with their valid identity documents.
In other words, you only need your ID card and age to apply, regardless of your household registration.
Personal cardholders can also apply for supplementary cards for specific natural persons with full civil capacity or natural persons with limited civil capacity. Supplementary card application materials must be confirmed by the main card holder by personal signature, customer service telephone recording, electronic signature or the way recognized by both the cardholder and the card issuer. The main cardholder can apply for cancellation of the supplementary card at any time.

When spending, withdrawing cash and using other self-service equipment in China, cardholders must abide by relevant national laws and regulations, as well as relevant regulations of UnionPay, card issuers and acquirers; In consumption abroad, you must abide by the relevant laws and regulations of the state and handle it in accordance with the relevant regulations of bank card organizations and acquiring institutions such as UnionPay, Visa, MasterCard, JCB and American Express.
If the principal cardholder or applicant no longer uses the credit card during the validity period or after the expiration of the credit card, he shall promptly notify the card issuer through the customer service hotline provided by the card issuer, and apply to the card issuer for cancellation after paying off all the debts of the credit card account.
