Spelling example:
ZHANG SAN
If the name is pronounced "Al", and the capital letter ü is not replaced by V, use YU Instead, for example: the pinyin of aluminum is marked as LYU.
Extended reading:
The correct pinyin of the words "LV", "Lü", and "LV" should be lü. There are two common spellings on passports: LV, a computer input method, is based on the "Universal Keyboard Representation Specification of the Chinese Pinyin Scheme". Since there is no ü key on the computer keyboard, it is replaced by V in a flexible way; LU, because ü does not have a capital form, so some public characters ** *In some cases or on your passport, use U instead.
However, these two spellings have their own problems: there is no letter V in Chinese Pinyin, and the spelling of LV is difficult for those who don’t know how to spell it; while LU is related to the pinyin of "Lu", "Lu", etc. Confused.
In the future, substitutions will follow the new regulations, and ü will be unified as YU.
