1. What do you need to prepare for the IELTS test abroad?
Candidates who go abroad to take the IELTS test should bring their own ID cards, admission tickets, credit cards, cash, mobile phone cards and exam review materials.
id card: you need to use your passport when you register for the exam. After that, you need to apply for a passport and visa in advance, because you need to book a flight to go abroad.
during the exam, you need to verify your identity. In order to avoid accidents, it is recommended to carry your ID card and copy with you. Students who go to Hong Kong and Macao to take the exam need to apply for the Hong Kong and Macao Pass.
If you lose your passport or pass, you will not be able to take the IELTS test. It will take time to reapply. Therefore, you should take good care of your identity documents.
admission ticket: the admission ticket is used to check the important information of the website and the test sites. On the day of IELTS test, candidates must bring the admission ticket.

credit card and cash: you need credit card or cash for accommodation, travel and other entertainment activities. Whether you pay by credit card or cash, you need to be prepared.

IELTS review materials: It is recommended to bring some materials before the exam, but not all of them. Take some simple notes and print some real questions.
2. IELTS test content
1. Listening
The listening test consists of four parts, including dialogue and monologue, with different English accents and dialects. Listening is only played once, * * * has 4 questions, and the examination time is 4 minutes.
2. Reading
Class A: Reading has 3 articles, selected from books, magazines, periodicals and newspapers, and at least one article contains detailed discussions. There are 4 questions in total, and the examination time is 1 hour.
class g: read 5 articles, mainly based on the daily life materials of English-speaking countries, and test the ability to understand and use daily information. * * * There are 4 questions, and the examination time is 6 minutes.
3. Writing
Class A: Writing includes two tasks. Small composition: write according to the chart, 15 words. Big composition: writing for ideas, 25 words. The examination time is 6 minutes.
