Can foreigners get a loan if their credit card is overdue?

No. The credit card is overdue, or the overdue debt has been paid off but the overdue record has not been deleted. In both cases, users cannot go to the bank to apply for a loan. When there is an overdue record in the user's credit report, the bank will determine that the user has a bad credit report and will not be able to apply for any bank loan. The credit report must be restored before the user can apply for a bank loan. If the user pays off the overdue balance on the credit card, the overdue record will be retained for 5 years. After 5 years, the overdue record will be deleted and the user's credit report will be restored.

Using a credit card for consumption after the due date does not constitute a crime, but is a malicious overdraft. If the card is not returned after being called by the issuing bank, it may constitute a crime. A malicious overdraft means that the cardholder exceeds the prescribed limit or period for the purpose of illegal possession. Overdraft refers to the act of still returning the card more than 3 months after being called upon twice by the card-issuing bank.

If the credit card is overdue, the card-issuing bank will promptly remind the cardholder of the overdraft amount, repayment date and other information that is about to expire; it will collect collection from the debtor himself and his guarantor, but shall not collect money that is not related to the debt. A third party collects money or engages in improper collection behavior.
