According to the Regulations of People's Republic of China (PRC) Customs on the Administration of Inbound and Outbound Luggage of China Passengers, China passengers can bring alcoholic beverages with a temperature of over 1 bottle 12 and under 0.75 liters into the country duty-free.

From July 1 day, 2020, seven new categories of duty-free shopping in Hainan Island were added, and alcohol was one of them, with a purchase restriction of 1500ml each time.

The limit of articles carried by tourists in China is as follows:

1, Hong Kong and Macao residents and mainland residents travel to and from Hong Kong and Macao for personal reasons, with 200 duty-free cigarettes, 50 cigars or 250g cut tobacco; 12 degree duty-free alcoholic beverage limit 1 bottle (below 0.75 liter).

2. Other passengers, 400 duty-free cigarettes, or 100 cigars, or 500 grams of cut tobacco; /kloc-2 bottles of duty-free alcoholic beverages above 0/2 degree are limited (1.5 liter or less).
