To apply for the main credit card of China Merchants Bank, you need to be 18-60 years old (foreigners are 25-60 years old), have a certain economic ability and have a good credit record. Minors cannot apply for the main credit card independently for the time being.

Cardholders of credit cards can apply for supplementary cards for their immediate family members (parents, spouses or children). Applicants for supplementary cards must be 14 years old, with no upper age limit.
