China Resources Suguo is a brand under China Resources Vanguard. Suguo Supermarket Co., Ltd. was founded on July 18, 1996. Its predecessor was Jiangsu Fruit and Grocery Corporation. The word "Su Guo" is derived from the two characters "Su" and "Guo". In June 2004, China Resources controlled 85% of Suguo's shares.

After 23 years of hard work, as of the end of 2018, the total number of Suguo outlets reached 1,800, mainly covering Jiangsu and Anhui, with a total number of 40,000 employees and an annual sales volume of 27.5 billion yuan (excluding wholesale). Suguo Supermarket has been among the top ten in the same industry nationwide for many years.
