In order to strengthen cooperation with American Express and meet the payment needs of cross-border customers, Bank of China and American Express have cooperated to launch the Great Wall American Express International Chip Card. Platinum card and gold card products, Bank of China Great Wall American Express International Chip Card are chip and magnetic stripe composite cards that comply with EMV standards. It inherits the basic functions and services of Great Wall Global Pass, including interest on deposits, interest-free period for overdraft consumption, revolving credit, optional consumption with password, immediate effect on report of loss, fraud detection reminder, cash advance, automatic repayment, Flexible plan repayment, installment payment, personal online banking and other functions.

The Great Wall American Express International Chip Card is a Bank of China Great Wall series credit card. This card has 2 products, namely: Bank of China Great Wall American Express International Chip Card Platinum Card, and Bank of China Great Wall American Express International Chip Card Gold Card. This card can be divided into platinum card and gold card according to level. The Bank of China Great Wall American Express International Chip Card can only be used on the American Express International organization network outside China and in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions of China, and does not support transactions with UnionPay online merchants. Domestic cash withdrawals and transfers will not be affected.
