The vast majority of EMV cards issued by the United States and China are chip+signature cards. There are a few chips +PIN cards in America. These chip+signature cards are available in most "shops" POS in Canada and Europe (except for shops with a lot of tourists, when using these cards in some shops whose main customers are locals, they will attract the cashier's nervous eyes from time to time, and some people will check their signatures and/or ID cards very carefully ...); The problem will be that some self-service machines can't be used, especially gas stations, automatic ticket vending machines, unattended parking lots, bridge toll collectors and so on.
