The annual fees are different and the service targets are different.

1. The Merchant Friend Card is a financial management gold card. The annual fee is RMB 50 per card per year. The annual fee is charged annually, and the card activation date is the day when the annual fee is deducted. The annual fee of the business friend card is subject to graded discounts: Level I business friend customers will be charged the full amount; Level II business friend customers will receive a 50% discount; and level III, IV, and V customers will be exempted. For merchant cards that have failed to successfully deduct the annual fee for two consecutive years, ICBC will automatically cancel the account through the system. Customers who open a Merchant Friend Card at ICBC for the first time will be exempted from the annual fee for the first year.

2. Business Friend Card is mainly an exclusive service medium provided for members of ICBC Business Friend Club, while Elite Club Account Card is a VIP card issued to individual mid-to-high-end customers.
