The existing UnionPay gold card of China Merchants Bank cannot directly apply for changing the card type of credit card, but can only re-apply for UnionPay +VISA gold card.

Steps and procedures for applying for a credit card:

1, apply for an appointment online;

2. After the appointment, the bank staff will contact and confirm the collection of personal information (identity certificate, work certificate and financial certificate);

3. After the data is approved, mail the card according to the filled mailing address information;

4. Activate the binding to open the card.
