I. Opening of ICBC counters

Dial: 95588 to "6" international card service, select the required service language according to the voice prompt, and press "3" to enter the ICBC credit card service. Then press "2" to enter "card activation", and enter personal information such as credit card number and valid certificate (ID card) number according to the voice prompt to successfully open the card. You can set the consumption password after opening the card.

When the Peony Card is opened through telephone banking, if the cardholder uses a non-reserved telephone number to dial the telephone banking, the system will ask him to enter the reserved mobile phone number. Please follow the voice prompts. At present, ICBC in some areas does not support self-service card opening by telephone. Cardholders can choose to open cards at the counter or turn to 95588 for "9" manual service consultation.

Three. Opening of online banking

Log in to personal online banking from ICBC official website, and enter "Peony Card Activation" under "Bank Card Service". Enter the card number, card validity period, cardholder's name, certificate number and other related information, then click the OK button, and finally set the credit card password and confirm it to complete the opening of ICBC Peony Credit Card.

Online card opening can be handled in different places, which is more convenient than the first two methods. However, due to the setting problem of ICBC's online banking system, users in some areas may be automatically set a consumption password, that is to say, the password option was not filled in when the card was opened online, but after the card was successfully opened, there was actually a consumption password, which the cardholder could not know. Once this happens, 95588 or ATM can't reset the password because the cardholder doesn't know the original password. The cardholder must go to the local card-issuing bank outlet to reset the password, and the password reset fee is 10 yuan. International cards are free for the first time.

If someone opens a card on a remote network and the password cannot be reset, the password transaction limit can be set through online banking, so that the consumption below 1000 yuan does not need to enter the consumption password.
