Credit cards have two main functions, one is to spend by credit card, and the other is to borrow cash in advance. So, do credit cards have the transfer function of ordinary debit cards? Or, can China Merchants Bank transfer money by credit card?
In fact, credit cards can be transferred, which is equivalent to cash advance (cash withdrawal). Funds can be transferred to UnionPay cards of any bank (not limited to my name) on ATM machines. You can also transfer money to China Merchants Bank Card (debit card) under your name through online banking, mobile banking and telephone.
Fees and interest are charged according to the following standards:
1. handling fee: the handling fee for RMB cash advance in China is 1% of each cash withdrawal amount, and the minimum fee is 10 RMB; The handling fee for overseas cash withdrawal is 3% of each cash withdrawal amount, and the minimum charge is USD 3 or 30 yuan RMB (USD 5 or 30 yuan RMB for American Express Card-Centurion Black Gold Card and American Express Card-Centurion Platinum Card). There is no inter-bank handling fee for cash advance.
2. Interest: prepaid cash does not enjoy interest-free repayment. From the date of cash withdrawal to the date of settlement, interest will be charged at a daily rate of 0.5 ‰, and compound interest will be charged monthly.
To sum up, credit cards can be transferred, and transfer is actually the cash advance function of credit cards. And the transfer fee and interest to be paid by credit card transfer are the same as the cash lent by credit card in advance.
