As we all know, the preliminary examination of credit card is to review the basic information and personal credit report of the applicant. Generally, the bank will call to verify the information, and after passing, it will ask for an interview, and then let the applicant sign at the bank outlet to confirm that the card is being processed and submit relevant information. This is the second trial.
In a word, it is the bank staff who confirm the identity of the applicant, which is the key to approving the card. Some banks are successful in the second trial even after face-to-face signing, but some banks need to make a final review after face-to-face signing, and get the results as soon as possible, otherwise it will take 2~3 days.
Please note that if the applicant's ID number, household registration address and name change, the second trial will be stricter and may not pass.
Is it necessary to cancel the credit card after the second trial?
Some banks will issue cards first, and then sign them in person. After the second trial, they can activate the cards themselves. If the second trial fails, the credit card received will naturally be useless and there is no need to cancel it. But for the sake of personal information security, it is best to cut the credit card.
