Take all the information to the marriage registration office, and they become legally married.

1: The "Single Certificate (Proof of Marriage Requirements)" issued by the Director of Justice must be certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of China in Japan, and the Chinese translation should be prepared. However, you can also apply directly at the Japanese Embassy in China. The "Single Certificate (proof of marriage requirements)" issued by the Japanese Embassy in China does not require the certification of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of China in Japan, nor does it require Chinese translation.

2. The Japanese embassy in China needs Japanese passport and transcript of household registration, China resident identity card and household registration book to apply for "single certificate (proof of marriage requirements)". Pick it up on the same day.

3: The marriage registration should go to the marriage registration office where the China nationality party's account is located. You can get a marriage certificate the next day (foggy, it is best to ask the local civil affairs bureau). Submit the marriage certificate to the Japanese Embassy in China within three months after registration. The required materials are: 2-3 copies of "Marriage Session" (collected in the lobby of the embassy), 2 copies of "Household Registration Transcript" of Japanese nationality within 3 months, 2-3 copies of "Marriage Certificate" issued by notary office and 2-3 copies of "Nationality Certificate" issued by notary office and 2-3 copies of Japanese translation. After submitting it to the embassy, it will take about 1-2 months to complete the household registration in Japan.

If they live together in Japan after marriage, they should apply for a Certificate of Qualification for Stay before applying for a visa, and apply for a Japanese spouse visa after the Certificate of Qualification for Stay is approved.

4: To apply for the Certificate of Qualification to Stay in Japan, you need an application form, two photos, a Japanese marriage certificate, a Japanese spouse's tax payment certificate, a Japanese spouse's body certificate and a Japanese spouse's resident ticket.

5: Apply for a Japanese spouse visa after applying for the Certificate of Qualification for Stay.
