depending on the card type, if it is a UnionPay RMB single-currency credit card with the beginning of 6, the credit card will be charged in RMB. If it is a dual-currency credit card starting with 4 or 5 and has a US dollar account, if the cardholder swipes a VISA or MasterCard account, it will be credited in US dollars in local currency, and the repayment needs to be made by purchasing foreign exchange.
if it's a full-currency credit card, all foreign currency swipes are automatically converted into RMB, and generally 1.5% exchange fee is exempted.
