If you decide not to use your Ping An Credit Card anymore, there are two main ways to cancel it:
First, you can do it over the phone. Call Ping An Bank's credit card customer service hotline 95511. After being transferred to manual service, clearly inform the customer service of your cancellation needs. During the verification process, they may ask you to provide ID information and credit card password to confirm your identity. Just be sure to stay firm in the conversation, make it clear that your decision to log out is irrevocable, and be prepared with good reasons to support your decision.
Secondly, you can also choose to go to a nearby Ping An Bank branch in person. Bring your ID card and the credit card that needs to be canceled to the manual service window for the cancellation procedure. Although bank staff may try to hold you back, stand your ground.
Be sure to pay off the credit card balance before officially canceling, so as not to affect the cancellation process. Repayments can be made using apps such as Alipay or Baidu Wallet. After paying off the amount, contact customer service again to cancel.
After logging out, to ensure safety, it is recommended to destroy your credit card to prevent others from copying it. Finally, it is best to call the bank again within 46 days after cancellation to confirm whether the credit card account has been successfully canceled to prevent any omission.
