Pending deposit means that the funds are being transferred, but have not actually entered the account yet.

Funds are divided into monetary funds and other monetary funds. Monetary funds refer to the ending balances of the three general ledger accounts of cash on hand, bank deposits and other monetary funds. Monetary funds with special purposes are not included. Other monetary funds include deposits from other places, bank draft deposits, cashier's check deposits, letter of credit deposits, credit card deposits, investment deposits, etc.
