Does repayment before the billing date count?
Repayment is calculated before the accounting date. If it is before the last repayment date of the previous bill, the deposited money will be deducted from the previous bill, and the extra money will be deducted from the current consumption; If the last bill has been paid off, or the last repayment date of the last bill has passed, it is also counted as repayment, deducting the credit card debt; If there is no consumer debt in the credit card, it will be directly counted as overpayment, and the overpayment will be deducted first when spending.

If you spend before the bill date and repay before the bill date, the bill that comes out on the bill date will not show the returned part. For example, if you spend 3,000 yuan by swiping your card before the bill date and repay 3,000 yuan before the bill date, then on the bill date, the credit card bill is 0, and no repayment is needed before the repayment date; However, if you spend 3000 yuan and pay 2000 yuan by credit card before the bill date, the credit card bill generated on the bill date is 1000, and you only need to pay 1000 before the repayment date.

Pay attention to the following issues on the due repayment date of credit cards:

1. All consumption funds are no longer entitled to interest-free repayment, and the bank will calculate interest on a daily basis with the consumption amount as the principal from the date of consumption, with a daily interest rate of 0.5 ‰ and compound interest on a monthly basis.

2. Receive phone calls and letters from the bank.

3. Freeze your account, feed back your arrears record to China People's Bank and record it in your credit file, which will affect your personal credit.

If you really don't have enough money to repay in full on the due date, please choose the minimum repayment amount of the credit card. If you repay in this way, you only need to return 10% of the total cost each time, so that although there is no interest-free repayment period, you can avoid personal credit damage.

Does prepayment have an impact on personal credit reporting?

Early repayment has no effect on credit reporting, as long as it is not overdue, it has no effect. Are there any additional benefits? In principle, there is none. Just normal repayment will only leave a good impression on the bank, and there is no problem with credit reporting. There are only a few data displayed in the credit report: total loan amount, monthly payment, number of credit cards, minimum monthly repayment amount, whether there are overdue records, how many times overdue, and the longest overdue period. The latest repayment date will not be displayed.
