Card withdrawal refers to the cancellation of a single card, that is, the cancellation of the credit card in your hand. Account cancellation refers to the cancellation of the whole account, and all the credit card accounts of the corresponding bank are cancelled. For example, if you have two credit cards in a bank and apply for account cancellation, you will cancel both cards.
Once the card withdrawal application is approved, it will take effect immediately. However, cardholders usually have to wait 45 days to apply for account cancellation, and within these 45 days, they can't use the credit card that initiated the account cancellation, which will lead to the failure of account cancellation.
Cancelling a card is not the same as canceling an account.
After the cardholder's credit card expires, the bank does not allow the cardholder to cancel the card or cancel the account. Before applying for account cancellation or account cancellation, the cardholder needs to pay off the credit card bill and make sure that there are no installment bills or other unpaid fees.
If the cardholder insists on eliminating it, it is recommended to cancel the card directly. Because after the card is cancelled and cut, the cardholder still has a certain credit record in the bank. If the cardholder wants to handle other loan business in the bank in the future, it is not equal to opening an account in vain.
If the cardholder cancels the account, then for the bank, the user is equal to a white account. It will be much more difficult to apply for other credit business.
