both are ok. it is better for credit cards and savings cards to have Master or Visa functions. unionpay is afraid that some places will not use them. I usually use credit card+cash when I go abroad, except for some scattered consumption cash, shopping malls use credit cards. Don't bring too much cash to avoid personal safety hazards.
