2. If the credit card holder chooses to replace the new card after the credit card expires, the bill of the old card will be included in the new card. After the new card is downloaded and activated, the cardholder can repay the arrears of the old card through the new card.

In short, no matter whether the user chooses to replace the credit card after its expiration, it will not affect the cardholder's repayment of the credit card bill, and all the arrears still need to be repaid as agreed. Whether the cardholder can continue to use the credit card for overdraft consumption is only whether to replace the new card.
It should be reminded that if the credit card is not replaced due, the credit card arrears cannot be applied for installment repayment or minimum repayment amount, and the cardholder needs to complete the repayment of the arrears before the last repayment date after the latest bill comes out. Of course, those who have already gone through the installment can still continue to repay by installment.
According to Article 63 of the Measures for the Supervision and Administration of Credit Card Business of Commercial Banks, the issuing bank shall provide card replacement services for cardholders who meet the conditions for card replacement. Unless the cardholder proposes not to renew the card, change the card or cancel the account when it expires. The issuing bank shall not provide card replacement service for the credit card account that the cardholder has not activated within the validity period of the credit card.
Article 64 The issuing bank shall provide credit card account cancellation service, and cancel the account for the cardholder in time after confirming that there is no outstanding amount in the credit card account. When the credit card is cancelled, the balance of the business procurement card account should be transferred back to its corresponding unit settlement account. On the premise that the notification method is stipulated in the credit card collection contract (agreement) or written agreement, the issuing bank shall notify the cardholder of the upcoming changes in the credit card articles of association, products and services in clear, concise and easy-to-understand language more than 45 days in advance.
