Why don't futures accept market orders when they are in call auction?
Because the matching rules of call auction and continuous bidding are different, call auction can't use the market price list.

Call auction's matchmaking rule is to arrange all the buying and selling quotations from low to high regardless of time, and take one of these quotations as the opening price: "The number of selling orders below this price is equal to the number of buying orders above this price".

In this case, if the market order is pending, it is impossible to enter the matchmaking, so call auction does not accept the market order.
