On the basis of qualitative analysis of the influencing factors of option price, under the assumption that other influencing factors remain unchanged, option risk index can be used to quantify the dynamic influence of a single factor on option price. The risk indicators of options are usually expressed in Greek letters, including delta value, gamma, theta, vega, rho and so on. For option traders, knowing these indicators makes it easier to grasp the changes of option prices and helps to measure and manage some risks.
Delta value: measures the change range of option price when the underlying asset price changes.
Gamma: Measure the change range of option Delta value when the underlying asset price changes.
θ: Measure the change range of option price with time.
Vega: Measure the change range of option price when the underlying asset price volatility changes.
Rho: Measure the change range of option price when interest rate changes.
