Why is there no IF 1008, IF10/0, IF10/01in stock index futures?
Because the current CSI 300 contract is based on four contracts, namely, the current month contract, the next month contract, the next quarter monthly contract and the next quarter monthly contract. Among them, the current month and next month's contracts become recent contracts, and the next quarter and the next quarter are forward contracts.

IF is the unique code of Shanghai and Shenzhen 300 stock index futures, and the last four digits represent the year and month.

The current month is June, so before the delivery date, that is, before the third Friday in June, the four contracts are:

This month's contract, that is, June contract IF 1006.

Next month's contract, that is, July contract IF 1007.

Next quarter's monthly contract, that is, September contract IF 1009.

Monthly contract for the next quarter, that is, 65438+February contract IF 10 12.

If on the fourth Monday of June, the contract IF 1006 of the current month is delisted due to the closing on the third Friday, then the contract of the current month will automatically become IF 1007, the contract of the next month will become IF 1008, the contract of the next quarter will remain unchanged IF 1009, and the contract of the next quarter will become if/kloc-.

Similarly, by the fourth Monday in July, these four contracts will become:

Current month: IF 1008

Next month: IF 1009

Next season: IF 10 12

Next season: IF 1 103

In other words, the four contracts will remain unchanged forever.

According to the above rules, there will be no contract in August 10, 1 1 before the closing of the third Friday in June.
