The difference between crude oil and fuel oil:
The difference between crude oil and fuel oil is the density. Fuel oil includes steam, coal, diesel oil and 180# heavy oil. Fuel oil is extracted from crude oil and used in various transportation industries.
The color of crude oil is black, while fuel oil, except heavy oil, steam and coal are pale yellow when meeting water, and diesel oil is golden yellow.
Crude oil is unprocessed crude oil. During processing, the lighter parts will be separated first. Therefore, crude oil will produce "steam" in turn during processing.
Oil (lightest), kerosene and diesel oil, these three lighter oils, these three oils with higher combustion performance are collectively called "fuel oil", and the last remaining heavy residue is called heavy oil, because
It is widely used as fuel for industrial furnaces such as ship boilers, heating furnaces and metallurgical furnaces, so it is usually called "fuel oil".
In the process of crude oil processing, the lighter components are always separated first. As a part of refined oil, fuel oil is a heavy residue product separated from crude oil after gasoline, coal and diesel oil in the process of petroleum processing. Therefore, it is called heavy oil and residual oil.
