I. Company Profile

1. Evolution and background

Founded on March 5th, 1965, the company is one of the main members of Formosa Plastics Group. The company used to be engaged in the production and sales of textile and fiber products. Since 1976, plastic products such as PS and ABS have been added one after another. After six investments, it has been transformed into a commercial enterprise mainly producing petrochemical and plastic products.

The company is in a leading position in Taiwan Province Province and Asia in the production and marketing of textiles, fiber products and petrochemical products. 1990 applied to the government for approval to invest in ABS, PS, PTA and automobile, electric power, electric power and other factories in Ningbo, Chinese mainland.

2. Business project and product structure

The company's business includes petrochemical products, plastic products and chemical fiber products, as well as public works business. The products mainly include:

(1) Petrochemical industry: benzene, toluene, p-xylene (PX), o-xylene (OX), styrene (SM), synthetic phenol (phenol), acetone (acetone), purified terephthalic acid (PTA) and dimethylformamide.

(2) Plastics: polycarbonate resin (PC), polystyrene (PS), polypropylene (PP) and ABS.

(3) Chemical fibers: artificial cotton, mirabilite, synthetic fiber yarn, short fiber cloth and long fiber cloth, nylon particles, nylon precursor and nylon processing yarn.

(4) Public works: public fluids such as water, electricity, filtered water, frozen water, soft water and steam.

Product revenue ratio in 20 12 years: petrochemical products accounted for 65.2%, plastic products accounted for 24. 1%, and fiber textile products accounted for 8.6%.

Second, products and competitive conditions

1. Important raw materials and related suppliers

The company is closely related to the upstream and downstream of the group. The self-sufficiency rate of upstream raw materials including benzene, OX, PX and SM is above 80%, and about 80% of SM produced is for personal use.

Main raw material suppliers:

Aromatic hydrocarbon mixture, ethylene, propylene and butadiene: mainly provided by Formosa Plastics.

An: It is mainly provided by Formosa Plastics.

Bisphenol and polyester cotton: mainly supplied by South Asia.

Rubber: mainly supplied by Formosa Plastics and JSR.

CPL: Mainly supplied by Sinopec, Sumitomo of Japan and Dyson of the Netherlands.

2. Production capacity and production capacity

As far as the annual production capacity of factories in Taiwan Province Province is concerned:

(1) Petrochemical: 6,543,800 tons of benzene, 480,000 tons of o-xylene, 6,543,800 tons of p-xylene, 20,000 tons of toluene, 2.4 million tons of PTA, 246,000 tons of acetone, 400,000 tons of synthetic phenol and 40,000 tons of DMF4.

(2) Plastics: PS32.32 million tons, ABS 4 1 10,000 tons, PP 5 1 10,000 tons, PC20.2 million tons.

(3) Chemical fiber: rayon145,000 tons, nylon particles 2130,000 tons, nylon yarn 17 1 ton, and nylon processing yarn108,000 tons.

Annual production capacity of Ningbo factory in Chinese mainland;

(1) Petrochemical: Pta600,000 tons (expansion: 65438+20 14 years to complete 500,000 tons).

(2) Plastics: ABS 400,000 tons and PS 40,400,000 tons.

Taiwan Province Industrial Company is a joint venture between our company and South Asia in Vietnam, mainly engaged in the production and sales of plastics and chemical fibers. In terms of production capacity, the spinning capacity is 240,000 spindles, 47,000 tons of nylon particles, 39,000 tons of nylon filaments, 0/20,000 tons of polyester fiber150,000 tons of bottle polyester particles, 60,000 tons of BOPP film and 3,000 tons of PVC film. In 20 13, 3,000 tons of PVC film, 65,438 tons of PVC tape and 38,000 tons of polyester fiber were expanded.

Third, market demand and competitive sales.

1. Industrial structure and supply and demand

1 mt PTA =0.67 mt PX+(0.06~0. 1) mt acetic acid+contribution.

PTA is mainly used to make polyester or PET. Each kilogram of polyester is polymerized from 0.87 kg PTA and 0.35 kg EG, and then drawn into polyester fiber. Usually PTA consumption is seasonal, and March-June and August-65438+February are the peak seasons for production.

In 20 12, the global PTA demand was 43.95 million tons, and the production capacity exceeded 60 million tons, with Asia as the main production base, of which Chinese mainland demanded 20.65 million tons. In mainland China, due to the rapid expansion of production capacity, the downstream demand has not improved, and the operating rate is only 665,438+0%. If the economic recovery in Europe and America is slow, it will affect the market supply.

As for the main raw material PX, the global demand for PX is growing rapidly. It is estimated that it will reach 34.8 million tons in 20 14, and the production capacity is mainly concentrated in Asia. Among them, the demand in Chinese mainland is13.85 million tons, and the self-sufficiency rate is about 6 1%. It is estimated that the demand will increase by about 20% every year in 20 13 years.

2. Sales situation

In 20 12 years, the market share of each product in China is:

(1) Petrochemical products: styrene 44%, acetone 37%, synthetic phenol 45%, PTA 37%.
