This depends on why the debt is generated. If you use your own funds to speculate in futures, you will lose money at most and have no debt. If you borrow money to speculate in futures, then this is a legal debt, and your wife must bear joint and several liability. There are two points to note here. One is whether it is usury. If so, it is suggested to go to the court immediately to apply for a ruling that the high interest rate is invalid, but the principal and normal interest should still be paid back.
