1. It is required that those who engage in investment management-related business in the last three years must meet the relevant qualification conditions, and the average annual scale of assets under management reaches 1 million. You only need to take the first exam, and you don't have to take other exams. Subject 1 is "fund laws and regulations, professional ethics and business norms".
2. Pass the securities qualification examination, futures qualification examination, banking qualification examination, etc. , and meet the relevant identification conditions. Or pass the CPA qualification examination, legal professional qualification examination, asset appraiser professional qualification examination, etc. , and meet the relevant identification conditions. You only need to take subject one, fund laws and regulations, professional ethics and business norms.

The fund qualification examination includes three subjects:
Subject 1: fund laws and regulations, professional ethics and business norms;
Subject 2: Basic knowledge of securities investment funds;
Subject 3: Basic knowledge of private equity investment funds.
Candidates are eligible to be registered as fund practitioners if they pass the examination of subject 1 and subject 2, or pass the examination of subject 1 and subject 3.
The association will increase or adjust relevant examination subjects as appropriate according to the needs of industry and market development.

On April 7th, 2020, China Asset Management Association issued an announcement, and decided to postpone the appointment examination for fund qualification scheduled for May 23rd.
The specific extension of the examination time will be notified separately according to the progress of epidemic prevention and control. In order to actively support the industry to resume work and production, the association will appropriately increase the number of examination places after the re-examination to meet the examination needs.
