Brief introduction of Tsung i Jao, a master of Chinese studies
Tsung i Jao,1965438+August 9, 2007. Born in Chaoan County, Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province. Gu 'an, Xuantang, chaozhou people, Guangdong. Mr Rao 12 granddaddy Shi started selling Hakka tofu in Chaozhou city, but it developed slowly later. Later, he served as a professor at Wuxi National College, Guangdong University of Arts and Sciences and South China University. He studied at the Institute of Oriental Studies in Bandaga, India, and served as a professor at the University of Singapore, Yale University in the United States and the French Institute of Advanced Studies. Professor Rao 1962 was awarded the French Scholar of Sinology Award, and 1982 was awarded the honorary Doctor of Literature by the University of Hong Kong. Later, he served as Honorary Professor of Art Department of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. 1993 is a consultant professor at Fudan University in Shanghai. Professor Rao has a wide academic range, involving Oracle Bone Inscriptions, Dunhuang studies, ancient Chinese characters, ancient history of the Middle East, art history, music, Ci studies and so on. He has published 40 books and more than 300 academic papers. In art, he is especially accomplished in painting and calligraphy. In painting, I am good at landscape painting, sketching, traveling abroad and having my own face. In addition to Li Longmian, Chou Shizhou, Chen Laolian and others, figure painting with the method of "line drawing" opened up a new road and had a great influence. Calligraphy is rooted in writing, cursive script is integrated into the longitudinal rhyme and interest of the late Ming Dynasty, and book recording combines the advantages of Taniguchi, Tingzhou, Winter Heart and Perfect White, forming its own style. Tsung i Jao's "Xiaotianlou" collection100000 books was the most famous library in eastern Guangdong at that time.
