Both capital market and money market are a form of financial market. Generally speaking, according to the maturity of financial market trading instruments, financial markets are divided into two categories: money markets and capital markets. The futures market is also a kind of financial market, which is classified according to the delivery period. It can be divided into: ① financial spot market, with immediate payment and delivery after financing activities are completed; (2) In the financial futures market, after the investment and financing activities are completed, payment and delivery shall be made on the specified date agreed in the contract. Scientific and systematic division of financial markets according to the above internal relations is the basis for effective management of financial markets.
Therefore, I think it is inappropriate to classify the futures market as a money market, because they all belong to a financial market, and the criteria for division are different.
